If you are like me, you love all the bath and body products out there but not the expensive prices! There is another way to enjoy them without breaking your budget.....make your own!
It is so easy to do and so much more affordable and what's also great is that you can customize the scent to your preference. Here is what you do:
MIX TOGETHER:
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/3 cup baby oil or olive oil
-1 tsp any extract or essential oil you have on hand
-1 tbsp zest from any citrus fruit (optional)
My favorite combinations are baby oil with lemon zest and lemon extract.....has a refreshing, clean, bright scent that I just love! You could also use baby oil with orange zest and vanilla extract for a warm, fall scent that is perfect for this time of year!
Put in plastic jar and keep in the shower and use daily as a body/foot scrub.....keeps skin moisturized even in the upcoming winter months!
